Sexability shows the perception of sensuality and lust from the perspective of people with so-called intellectual disabilities.In a two-year collaboration\, director Anne-Christin Plate worked with seven artists from the Thikwa Workshop for Theater and Art\, a workshop for people with so-called intellectual disabilities in Berlin. The basis of the conversation and co-creation of visual artworks on sexuality and self-expression is trust and openness. The seven artists become the protagonists of the film "sexability". They talk about their experiences\, thoughts and desires\, while the animation picks up on their unique visual language.
