Description
Synopsis: Sixteen-year-old Aurora spends a naked day with her mother on an idyllic, windswept, and deserted beach on Norway’s west coast. Alone together, removed from everyday roles and distractions, Aurora begins to ask increasingly intimate questions. Gradually, her mother Ragnhild reveals a long-buried secret that once threatened their family.
When regret sets in and the confession is withdrawn, the balance between them shifts. For the first time, Aurora encounters her mother stripped of authority and certainty—vulnerable, exposed, and in need of a friend.
