Nashville, TN — [3.14.26] — The Tennessee Pride Chamber proudly announces the appointment of Keillian Carpenter as its new Executive Director. A passionate nonprofit leader and dedicated advocate for community advancement, Carpenter steps into the role with a strong track record of impact, leadership, and service.
Carpenter relocated to Nashville in the summer of 2021, where he quickly established himself as a leader in the healthcare nonprofit sector. During his tenure with the American Cancer Society, he played a key role in the success of the Nashville Discovery Ball, one of the organization’s premier fundraising events. Most recently, he contributed his expertise to the Alzheimer's Association, further demonstrating his commitment to mission-driven work and community impact.
Since joining the Chamber’s Board of Directors in 2023, Carpenter has been an active and visionary leader. As Event Co-Chair in both 2023 and 2024, he helped lead the transformation of the Pride in Business Awards Luncheon into a signature gala event—now recognized as one of the largest LGBTQ+ business celebrations in the state of Tennessee.
“I am deeply honored to step into the role of Executive Director for the Tennessee Pride Chamber of Commerce,” said Carpenter. “This Chamber plays a vital role in strengthening and uplifting LGBTQ+ businesses, professionals, and our allies across the state. Carpenter’s appointment marks an exciting new chapter for the Chamber as it continues to grow its impact across the state. His leadership reflects a deep commitment to fostering inclusive economic development, amplifying LGBTQ+ entrepreneurship, and strengthening connections among businesses and allies alike.
